Message from Dean

It gives me great pleasure to issue this message to the inaugural e-newsletter of the Research Promotion and Facilitation Centre (RPFC) of our Faculty. Since the establishment of the RPFC in 2017, the Center has been providing leadership to promote research and facilitate research by contributing to the enhancement of various aspects of the research ecosystems of the faculty. These activities have ranged from providing research training; enhancing research awareness through print and electronic media, workshops, and conference; facilitating pooling of research resources; to supporting patenting and commercialization of research. The e-newsletter will facilitate wider dissemination of the activities of the centre and closer engagement with students, faculty, extended faculty, alumni and the wider community. I wish to congratulate the Director and Activity Coordinators of the Center for their dedication and commitment. I look forward to supporting the center to go from strength to strength.
